Celebrating Catholic Education

The Catholic Church educates more people than anyone else on the planet. Catholic Education is distinct from all other kinds. We can learn information from all types of sources; from books, from encyclopedias, from the internet, from the public school system... but what is distinct about Catholic education is that it is about fostering a culture and environment of faith in JESUS.

I want to applaud and encourage all of the Catholic schools out there who are striving to live in the fullness of truth and to demonstrate our Catholic values to a world hungry for substance and hope.

Let's pray for the teachers, educators, principals, students, parents, and communities, that our Catholic schools will continue to be a beacon of HOPE for a world longing to know a better way, the Way: JESUS!
